Provides direct nursing care to long-term care residents according to physician orders and care plans. Administers medications, assesses resident conditions, documents care, monitors safety and treatment responses, and supports admissions, transfers, discharges, and care planning. Supervises and delegates work to CNAs, monitors staff performance and schedules, supports training, communicates with residents, families, physicians, and nursing leadership, and follows infection-control, regulatory, and facility procedures.

Requires coordination with physicians, families, residents, nursing administration, and other departments while maintaining infection-control and resident-rights standards.
