Leads innovation and product development projects for film-based materials from concept through commercialization. Develops resin formulations, multilayer structures, and manufacturing processes; conducts laboratory, pilot, customer, and commercial trials; analyzes material performance data; supports scale-up and commercialization; and works with customers to validate products, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities.

Identifies emerging technologies, market signals, and growth opportunities using hypothesis-driven innovation. Designs experiments, validation plans, prototypes, and learning cycles to reduce uncertainty and support decision-making. Analyzes results, develops actionable recommendations, facilitates ideation and co-creation workshops, and collaborates with consumers, customers, suppliers, startups, universities, and technology centers. Leads selected disruptive innovation projects and communicates findings to project teams and leadership. Requires approximately 15–25% travel.

Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion machinery during night shifts. Maintain production quality and safety standards, troubleshoot equipment, make operational adjustments, handle materials up to 70 pounds, and keep the work area organized. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while working scheduled shifts and overtime as needed.
