Oversees formulation, lab work, scale-up, factory trials, product testing, regulatory documentation, and post-launch updates. Manages food science staff, coordinates cross-functional teams and co-manufacturers, supports cost savings and process improvements, and ensures products meet consumer, quality, cost, and specification targets. The role is hybrid in Tribeca, NYC, with approximately 20–50% travel to factories.

Leads Magic Spoon’s communications and culture strategy across social, PR, earned media, influencers, affiliates, partnerships, and creative. Builds cultural relevance and brand buzz, manages PR agency relationships and creator ecosystems, develops engaging social programming, and leads a growing team. This player-coach role requires fast, creative decision-making and close collaboration with Brand, Growth, and Design to create culturally relevant campaigns that drive conversation and business results.

The role involves sourcing raw materials, managing supplier bids, optimizing costs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support product specifications and quality standards.
