Leads hands-on fabrication, assembly, integration, installation, modification, repair, and quality inspection of aerospace prototypes and production hardware. Coordinates projects, schedules, manpower, materials, and cross-functional teams while ensuring safety, quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Operates and trains personnel on fabrication equipment, maintains equipment records, manages inventory, resolves production issues, and supports continuous improvement. Requires advanced mechanical fabrication expertise, drawing and GD&T interpretation, precision measurement, machining equipment operation, personnel mentoring, and Secret clearance eligibility.

Leads manufacturing engineering for aerospace and defense products, developing and optimizing processes, manufacturing plans, tooling, work instructions, and production documentation. Provides hands-on shop-floor support, resolves production issues, applies GD&T, supports quoting and cost estimation, and drives continuous improvement. Collaborates with design, production, quality, procurement, and program teams across product development and production. Mentors engineers and production personnel while ensuring compliance with aerospace quality and customer requirements.

Supports defense acquisition projects by developing and maintaining schedules, tracking milestones, costs, funding, risks, and engineering changes. Analyzes financial and schedule data, identifies impacts and potential overruns, prepares reports and briefing materials, documents meetings, and tracks actions and workloads. Collaborates with project leads, engineers, financial personnel, and leadership to support multiple projects and ensure timely, accurate program delivery with minimal supervision.

Operate and program conventional and CNC machine tools (including 3/4/5-axis) to fabricate and repair precision aerospace/defense parts. Interpret blueprints, select tooling and machining strategies, collaborate with engineers, document processes, and follow safety and quality standards to support manufacturing and repair projects.

Lead mechanical design, integration, prototyping, testing, and sustainment of aircraft mechanical and structural systems. Produce CAD models and TDPs, apply GD&T and ASME drafting standards, perform hand calculations and analyses for airworthiness, support manufacturing and additive prototyping, mentor junior engineers, and manage multidisciplinary projects to meet defense standards and production requirements.

Lead and manage complex aerospace engineering programs from initiation through delivery, serving as the primary customer contact. Develop and execute program plans, manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and performance reporting. Supervise program staff, coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure contractual and regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement to meet cost, schedule, and quality objectives.

Support planning, tracking, and delivery of defense/aerospace projects by managing scope, cost, schedule, risks, vendors, and stakeholder communication. Maintain project data, assist change management, prepare budgets, and promote process improvements to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery within quality standards.

Lead company financial strategy, accounting, FP&A, compliance and risk for an aerospace and defense contractor. Manage DCAA-compliant accounting, audits, budgeting, contract pricing, indirect rates, and a finance team to support growth and DoD contracts.

Lead defense-focused projects from scope through closeout, managing schedules, budgets, risks, vendors, and cross-functional teams while ensuring compliance with NAVAIR and quality standards. Provide stakeholder updates, resolve issues, and drive on-time, on-budget delivery.
