Teams at M&S Engineering

Research land titles, ownership, easements, deeds, and right-of-way records for electric utility construction and maintenance projects. Conduct courthouse and online database research, interpret legal descriptions and surveys, create easement exhibits, prepare legal documents and correspondence, contact landowners, and support permitting and project tracking. Maintain accurate files and databases, coordinate document reviews, assist survey and right-of-way professionals, and provide administrative support while meeting deadlines.

Prepare utility construction plans using MicroStation and AutoCAD, coordinate technical work with drafters, technicians, and engineers, support permitting with government agencies, research and verify easement information, interpret surveys and construction drawings, solve design problems, and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

Designs and engineers electrical substations from 4kV to 345kV, including protection, relaying, controls, drawings, specifications, reports, and bills of material. Coordinates project activities with clients and engineering teams, prepares scopes, schedules, and budgets, and may serve as project engineer or manager. Requires strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, proficiency with AutoCAD or MicroStation, willingness to travel, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
