Leads MSF’s antimicrobial resistance agenda by coordinating strategy, medical operations, research, diagnostics access, emergency preparedness, stakeholder engagement, advocacy, and field support. The role integrates AMR risk mitigation into humanitarian programming, advises multidisciplinary teams, develops strategic recommendations and policies, represents MSF externally, supports communications and fundraising, and monitors progress against AMR objectives. It also provides technical guidance, coaching, reporting, and coordination across MSF offices, field teams, research groups, and global health partners.

Supports South Asia medical-product sourcing, supplier relationship management, procurement, order administration, quality and GDP compliance, and shipment consolidation. The role conducts Indian market intelligence, identifies and validates suppliers, supports negotiations and supplier performance improvement, processes purchase orders and invoices in an ERP system, coordinates freight forwarding, and optimizes shipments to MSF supply centers. It collaborates with global buyers, quality teams, suppliers, logistics providers, and regional supply stakeholders.

Supports the Global Health and Humanitarian Medicine course through applicant communications, lecture feedback coordination, student onboarding, data entry, webinar administration, document and report organization, and meeting minutes. The internship is full-time and office-based in Colombo, with 25% work-from-home availability. Candidates should communicate effectively, multitask, take ownership, use MS Office, and preferably have a medical, commerce, international business, social work, accounts, or administration background.
