Provides technical leadership for a MIDS-JTRS Block Upgrade program across requirements, architecture, interfaces, integration, verification, validation, and customer acceptance. Leads cross-functional engineering teams, authors system and interface documentation, develops and executes system-level and Hardware-in-the-Loop testing, troubleshoots hardware/software integration issues, and supports major engineering reviews. Requires deep Link 16 and tactical data link expertise, strong systems engineering experience, and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Leads hardware/software integration for embedded flight software on an advanced missile platform. Responsibilities include defining vehicle-level data architecture, maintaining internal messages and interfaces, coordinating FPGA, hardware, and flight software teams, resolving integration issues, supporting requirements and interface documentation, and driving testing through initial flight. The role requires systems engineering experience, active Secret clearance, full-time onsite work in Huntsville, and travel up to 25%.

Leads aerospace software certification planning and execution, develops DO-178C processes and documentation, manages certification artifacts, oversees verification and traceability, supports regulatory audits, mitigates compliance risks, and coordinates engineering teams, authorities, and customers. Requires substantial aerospace certification experience, expertise in DO-178C or DO-254, safety assessment knowledge, strong technical writing, leadership, and external audit experience.
