Coordinates specialty and diagnostic imaging referrals by tracking documentation, verifying patient registration and insurance details, gathering clinical information, securing prior authorizations, communicating with specialists and insurers, and explaining referral expectations to patients. Maintains accurate records to support care-team awareness, patient safety, and timely access to care.

Support daily operations of a School Based Health Center: schedule medical and behavioral appointments, maintain patient records and insurance data, register patients in EPIC, assist providers with referrals and follow-up, manage patient flow and supplies, transport lab specimens and mail, and ensure confidentiality and compliance with health center policies.

Manage and lead nurses, medical assistants, and nurse case managers to ensure safe, quality patient care. Oversee staffing, workflows, regulatory compliance, budgeting basics, staff development, hiring, evaluations, quality improvement, and interdepartmental collaboration.
