Designs and validates FPGA control and datapath logic for optical networking systems. Responsibilities include IP integration, simulation, verification, synthesis, timing and constraint optimization, automated lab testing, debugging, cross-functional integration, and technical documentation. The role collaborates with hardware, firmware, algorithms, and product verification teams to ensure system-level performance.

Designs and models optical trains for high-speed optical modules, optimizes parameters, and performs optical tolerance analysis. Collaborates with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and internal process, testing, and automation teams to improve manufacturability, assembly, and testing workflows. Supports optical failure analysis, reviews designs, and trains engineers. Requires strong optical testing, data analysis, communication, and multi-project coordination skills.

Develop and maintain automated test software, frameworks, libraries, and tools for optical and photonic products. Perform software verification and validation, including unit, integration, and system testing. Collaborate with international engineering teams, troubleshoot complex issues, participate in code and design reviews, and evaluate new test technologies. The role requires programming, test equipment automation, instrument control, communication protocols, and strong analytical and English communication skills.
