Drives supplier quality for optical components across technology development, supplier selection, NPI, production ramp, and sustaining manufacturing. Partners with engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, reliability, and suppliers to assess capability, ensure manufacturing readiness, improve supplier processes, and maintain product quality. Supports optical component manufacturing, precision assembly, scalability, and cross-functional technical decision-making for AI infrastructure, data center, telecommunications, and photonics applications.

Performs production work in a cleanroom environment while following manufacturing instructions, chemical-handling procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements. The role requires teamwork, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, computer skills, prolonged standing, PPE use, lifting 20–30 pounds, overtime availability, and a compressed onsite shift schedule.

Owns product engineering and manufacturing execution for cloud products from development through volume production. Leads NPI, product transfers, qualification, ramp-up, design-for-excellence, documentation, engineering changes, yield improvement, quality investigations, reliability, and cost reduction. Partners globally with Manufacturing, R&D, Process Engineering, Quality, and NPI teams to ensure manufacturability, performance, scalability, and production readiness.
