Operates machinery and hand tools to trim, shape, attach, sand, and finish leather boot heels. Reads production tickets, selects correct heel components, applies adhesives, secures heels with nails and rubber caps, and performs visual quality inspections. Maintains production quotas, safety standards, housekeeping, and accurate staging of completed boots. Supports other department workstations and works overtime or Saturdays as production needs require.

Performs precision boot welt and shank finishing operations, including trimming leather, hammering, shaping steel shanks, applying cement, stapling leather covers, and shaving edges. Operates and performs minimal maintenance on production equipment, inspects work for quality, meets daily production targets, maintains a clean workstation, follows safety procedures, and assists other production areas as needed. The role requires standing, repetitive hand movements, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Represent Lucchese as a brand ambassador by engaging customers, providing product and heritage knowledge, achieving individual and store sales goals, maintaining merchandise presentation, supporting inventory and visual floor sets, protecting store integrity, and accurately updating customer, sales, and inventory information. The role requires teamwork, attention to detail, operational excellence, flexible scheduling, and physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and climb stairs.
