Manages daily museum visitor services operations, including frontline staff supervision, scheduling, ticketing, queuing, visitor flow, cash handling, reporting, and escalated guest concerns. Serves as Manager-on-Duty, coordinating with Security, Facilities, Retail, Food & Beverage, and other departments to maintain safe, welcoming public spaces. Supports hiring, training, coaching, membership sales, emergency response, inventory management, and operational improvements.

Owns the museum’s group sales function across tour, travel, school, corporate, and community segments. Responsibilities include prospecting, pipeline management, pitching, negotiating contracts, forecasting revenue, managing guided tours, developing partnerships, coordinating group visits, packaging offers, and overseeing ticket fulfillment. The role also uses data to optimize pricing and attendance, collaborates across museum departments, supports opening operations, and delivers inclusive, high-quality visitor experiences.

Design and produce museum exhibition layouts, technical drawings, models, and presentation materials. Coordinate with facilities, architects, collections, vendors, and contractors to ensure code compliance, accessibility, conservation lighting, fabrication, installation, budgets, and schedules. Prepare 2D/3D assets for Vectorworks and Rhino, oversee casework/furniture selection, and manage production of graphics and built exhibition elements.
