Troubleshoot, diagnose, and improve electrical control systems supporting manufacturing equipment, including PLCs, drives, safety circuits, induction furnaces, temperature controls, instrumentation, and hydraulic interfaces. The engineer will support equipment reliability, safety, uptime, and continuous improvement; interpret schematics, resolve urgent issues, assist planned upgrades, and provide technical direction to maintenance electricians and engineers.

Plans and manages production schedules, inventory levels, material requirements, shop orders, and equipment capacity to meet customer delivery needs. Maintains customer specifications, rates, routings, and production data. Monitors order completion, material availability, product levels, and expedite requests while coordinating with Operations, Purchasing, Management, and production coordinators. Performs forecasting, trend analysis, pull-demand reviews, and recommends lot sizes and safety stock levels.

Supports Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities through process observation, video recording, training documentation, job breakdowns, troubleshooting trees, and visual work instructions. Collaborates with engineers, value stream managers, and operators; edits and tracks training materials; follows safety policies and performs assigned departmental tasks. The role is full-time, on-site, and based in a manufacturing facility.
