Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI) Benefits Overview

Serve as primary technical contact during phone and computer system migrations: coordinate projects, manage vendor/telecom communication, provide troubleshooting and technical guidance, document progress, and support continuous improvement.

Oversee a portfolio of supportive and affordable housing properties, lead and supervise property and program teams, ensure resident safety and stability, manage budgets/compliance (HUD, LIHTC), coordinate maintenance/capital projects, and support resident services and community engagement. Ensure accurate reporting, funder compliance, and implement policies promoting trauma-informed, low-barrier supportive housing.

Provide on-site monitoring and support at a homeless shelter: assist with intake/exit paperwork, enforce guest policies, maintain logs and incident reports, perform light maintenance and cleaning (including biohazard cleanup with PPE), respond to emergencies, handle donations, engage with participants, and report operational and safety issues to the Shelter Operations Manager.
