Verifies insurance benefits and authorization requirements for outpatient therapy, submits and tracks claims, resolves denials, processes appeals and corrected claims, posts payments, reconciles EOBs and ERAs, follows up on aging accounts, and communicates billing requirements with patients, therapists, clinicians, and front-office staff.

Performs physician-ordered radiology procedures, operates imaging equipment safely, obtains and maintains patient information, protects confidentiality, and supports patient care and satisfaction. Communicates with patients, families, providers, and staff; follows HIPAA and OSHA requirements; reports concerns to the Clinical Supervisor; attends staff meetings; and maintains current role competencies.
