Teams at Longhorn Village

Provides direct nursing care to senior residents, administers medications and treatments, completes documentation, develops care plans, supervises nursing assistants, responds to resident needs, and coordinates with physicians and care teams. The role promotes resident independence, safety, dignity, and quality of life while maintaining regulatory and facility standards.

Develops, organizes, and implements activities and programs for independent living residents. Produces calendars/newsletters, recruits and coordinates volunteers, liaises with dining and operations, maintains records and compliance, and remains on-call for emergencies. Promotes resident engagement and excellent customer service.

Provide direct nursing care on the night shift in a 24-hour skilled nursing environment: administer medications, perform treatments, obtain specimens, document care, delegate and supervise nursing assistants, and assist with nursing department operations to ensure quality resident care and regulatory compliance.
