Provides cross-functional support across mortgage operations, including appraisal processing, loan assignments, lock desk activities, case assignments, and re-disclosures. Maintains accurate loan records, tracks workflows, resolves issues with internal teams and vendors, supports regulatory compliance, and helps improve processes. The role requires proficiency in multiple operational functions, strong attention to detail, customer service skills, adaptability, and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Resolves wholesale reverse mortgage pipeline issues by structuring loan files, reviewing complex underwriting exceptions, assessing credit and financial documentation, and supporting timely loan decisions. Partners with Sales, Operations, and Underwriting teams to improve loan retention and funding outcomes. Provides scenario guidance, training, open office hours, and second-level reviews while documenting recommendations and decisions in the Loan Origination System.

Conducts pre- and post-closing quality control for reverse mortgage and HELOC loans, ensuring compliance with HUD, investor, federal, state, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include selecting files for review, tracking audits and service-level agreements, identifying risks and FHA self-reporting requirements, managing vendors, documenting findings, preparing reports, communicating remediation, and supporting operational process improvements.
