Teams at Long Center for the Performing Arts

Leads venue rental sales for the Long Center, including prospecting, relationship development, proposals, negotiations, contracting, pipeline management, revenue forecasting, and client follow-up. Establishes sales strategies and revenue goals while collaborating with event services, operations, marketing, programming, and other teams to deliver successful events. Represents the organization in Austin’s community and events industry, develops repeat business, and improves sales processes and event packages.

Leads the Long Center’s people strategy and human resources function, partnering with the CEO and leadership team on talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, compensation, workforce planning, and culture initiatives. The role provides leadership coaching, guides organizational change, ensures employment-law compliance, strengthens engagement and inclusion, and supports a positive employee experience across the organization.
