Teams at Lone Star Legal Aid

Manages grant and contract review, financial oversight, reporting, and funder relations for a nonprofit legal aid organization. Collaborates with internal teams to support grant success and renewals, analyze financial and database information, ensure accurate reporting, and represent the organization to diverse funders and community partners.

Provide civil legal representation in public benefits matters: gather evidence, draft pleadings, litigate in court and administrative forums, advise and interview clients, conduct outreach and community education, supervise support staff, manage caseloads, attend evening clinics. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred; reliable transportation required for travel across counties.

Provide direct civil legal representation to low-income clients: gather evidence, file and litigate civil cases, draft legal documents, advise clients, interview witnesses, supervise support staff, conduct outreach and community education, attend evening clinics, and manage a litigation caseload. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
