Provides senior cybersecurity support for RMF Step 6, continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, authorization maintenance, and Tenable operations. Analyzes Tenable and Wiz findings, prioritizes vulnerabilities, coordinates remediation, maintains POA&Ms and RMF artifacts, supports FISMA and audit activities, administers scanning services, troubleshoots scan issues, documents escalations, and mentors junior staff. The role requires assigned shifts, after-hours escalation coverage, and a final Secret clearance or higher.

Supports RMF Steps 1–3 for complex federal consular systems across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. Develops authorization boundaries, architecture packages, categorization justifications, SSPs, control documentation, evidence indexes, and POA&Ms. Validates security evidence, evaluates DevSecOps controls, coordinates supporting documentation, resolves reviewer and assessor comments, and mentors junior staff. Requires strong NIST RMF, federal cybersecurity, control implementation, and evidence-validation expertise, along with a final Secret clearance or higher.

Leads a cybersecurity delivery pod supporting RMF Steps 1–3 for Department of State systems. Coordinates assignments, workloads, dependencies, backup coverage, authorization package readiness, technical reviews, evidence collection, POA&M resolution, and stakeholder collaboration. Guides and mentors IASS personnel on categorization, controls, inheritance, SSP development, and traceability while escalating technical, schedule, and risk issues.
