Supports pupils, including children with special educational needs, throughout the school day. Duties include assisting teachers and the SENDCo, supervising pupils, delivering small-group interventions, supporting learning and behaviour, administering first aid after training, helping with classroom administration, and participating in the after-school club. The apprentice will complete a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification through on-the-job mentoring and formal online training, with potential full-time employment after successful completion.

Supports the school’s reception and administrative services, including welcoming visitors, answering queries, managing badges, handling correspondence, data entry, document preparation, parent communications, and event support. The apprentice will supervise students when required, follow safeguarding and confidentiality procedures, attend training, and complete a Level 3 School Administration qualification with on-the-job mentoring.

Support pupils with special educational needs through individualized learning activities, classroom engagement, literacy, numeracy, ICT development, behavior support, and personal welfare assistance. The apprentice will help prepare materials, track progress, supervise pupils during breaks and trips, support PE and swimming, and contribute to a safe, positive learning environment while completing a Level 3 Teaching Assistant SEND apprenticeship.
