Supports teachers and pupils in a junior school classroom by preparing learning resources, leading individual or group activities, promoting literacy, numeracy, independence and positive behavior, monitoring progress, providing feedback, assisting with tests, and using IT to support learning. The apprenticeship includes Level 3 Teaching Assistant training over 16 months.

Apprentice teaching assistant supporting autistic pupils aged 4–19 in classroom activities, educational visits, personal care, learning programs, behavior techniques, and resource preparation. The role involves working with teachers and specialist staff, planning activities, providing pupil feedback, maintaining a safe environment, and completing a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification with tutor support.

Supports classroom teaching under the direction of teachers and the SENCO. Works with individuals and small groups, including pupils with special educational needs or English-language needs. Assists with planned learning activities, behaviour support, lesson resources, pupil progress monitoring, classroom displays, parent engagement, meetings, training, and safeguarding procedures while completing a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
