Develops real-time 2D and 3D machine vision algorithms and inspection applications, from requirements gathering through prototyping, testing, documentation, and delivery. Builds measurement tools and HMI interfaces using 3D sensor hardware and software. Responsibilities include image processing, segmentation, feature extraction, measurement computation, design reviews, technical reporting, milestone delivery, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. The role includes customer collaboration, domestic and international travel, and on-site visits to assess parts and deliver prototype systems.

Develop and optimize 3D computer vision algorithms, point cloud processing, structured light, optical calibration, and sensor alignment routines in modern C++. Own algorithms from mathematical prototypes through production deployment on sensor hardware. Address optical distortion, multi-camera alignment, phase shifting, and noise filtering across Windows and embedded Linux. Collaborate cross-functionally, validate performance on hardware, write automated tests, conduct code reviews, and support full-stack integration.

Develops technical training courses and curricula for machine vision products using instructional design and adult education principles. Responsibilities include training needs analysis, learning-path design, e-learning and multimedia authoring, SME interviews, live-session planning, instructional guidance, learning metrics analysis, process automation, and global stakeholder collaboration. The role supports blended learning programs, works flexible hours for international collaboration, and requires occasional travel.
