Teams at Lincoln Park Zoo

Manage daily horticulture operations including inventory, tool maintenance, irrigation and pesticide management, contractor oversight, seasonal staff hiring and supervision, volunteer coordination, green roof maintenance, garden care, and recordkeeping. Assist Director with scheduling, training, and cross-departmental project coordination; respond to emergencies and represent the zoo at events.

Manage plant records (irisBG), labeling, inventories, and plant identification. Oversee plant health care, IPM, quarantines, and propagation. Develop horticulture programming, assist Director with collections, budgets, grants, and outreach. Supervise interns, support operations, contractors, and occasional event or hands-on garden work.
