Manage and validate financial and transaction data, monitor data flows, reconcile transactions, investigate anomalies, and support recurring reporting. Analyze large datasets using Snowflake and SQL, develop Python automations and data-quality checks, document operational processes, and collaborate with Finance, Product, and Operations teams to improve transaction workflows and data reliability.

Own Virta’s existing data platform and target architecture, establish shared domain models, governance, semantic layers, and data quality standards. Build reference implementations and dbt models hands-on while advising product and engineering teams. Within 12 months, form and lead a 3–5 person data team, establish data ownership and contracts, support integrations and acquisitions, and promote data literacy across the company.
