Own and develop the second-line risk management framework for Lightspark’s Estonian regulated entity. Responsibilities include risk appetite, risk and control registers, KRIs, enterprise risk assessments, fraud risk, DORA-related ICT and third-party risk, business continuity, supervisory reporting, safeguarding and own-funds oversight. The role prepares board reporting and supervisory reviews, leads risk training, and partners with Compliance, AML, Legal, Operations, Product, Engineering and Finance.

Manage the AML/CTF and sanctions framework for Lightspark’s Estonian regulated entity. Responsibilities include second-line oversight of CDD/EDD, transaction monitoring, screening, case escalations, suspicious activity reporting, risk assessments, policy maintenance, quality assurance, corrective actions, staff training, and regulatory documentation. The role deputizes for the MLRO and partners with Legal, Risk, Operations, Product, and Finance to embed compliance controls into business processes.

Lead the BSA/AML and Sanctions compliance program for a regulated fintech payments business. Responsibilities include maintaining policies, risk assessments, controls, and governance; translating regulations into product and control requirements; conducting counterparty due diligence; delivering training; supporting audits and regulatory examinations; and advising Product, Engineering, Legal, Sales, and other teams on compliance risks. The role requires deep payments, digital assets, blockchain, sanctions, AML, and fintech compliance expertise.

Owns end-to-end institutional due diligence for legal entities, partners, and respondent institutions. Responsibilities include onboarding reviews, risk-based approval decisions, periodic reassessments, enhanced due diligence, transaction monitoring, sanctions and PEP screening, adverse media checks, issue escalation, and compliance process improvement. The role requires strong knowledge of EU and Estonian AML/CTF frameworks, investigative judgment, English and Estonian fluency, and on-site work five days per week.

Build and own Lightspark’s internal AI and data platform, including agent infrastructure, MCP servers, tool integrations, governed data, sandboxed execution, and production pipelines. Partner with Finance, Sales Ops, Compliance, and other teams to replace manual workflows with reliable systems. Extend dbt and cloud data warehouse infrastructure, support monitoring and data reliability, and improve engineering tooling. The role requires production experience with AI agents, LLM APIs, internal platforms, and TypeScript/Node.js or Python.
