Drive the micro-architecture of a photonic communication fabric. Propose photonic device designs, estimate performance/power/area, collaborate with analog and photonic engineers, and author and validate architectural specifications for Passage.

Leads system-level electrical design for silicon photonics AI accelerators and interconnect products. Responsibilities include defining hardware requirements, designing power, memory, and high-speed circuits, selecting components, overseeing PCB layouts, validating boards in the lab, ensuring manufacturability, integrating cross-functional systems, and supporting contract manufacturing. The role requires taking products from concept through production and collaborating with mechanical, software, IC, packaging, and supply partners.

Supports new product introduction for advanced computing hardware by developing manufacturing processes, leading pilot builds, creating documentation, conducting DFM reviews, and troubleshooting board-, chassis-, and rack-level systems. Collaborates with hardware and software engineers, suppliers, and contract manufacturers on assembly, testing, validation, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and production readiness.
