Leads manufacturing, shipping, production control, inventory, logistics, scheduling, safety, and cost management operations. Manages cross-functional engineering, quality, materials, manufacturing, and safety teams. Develops production and inventory plans, aligns demand with capacity through SIOP, improves yield, efficiency, and on-time delivery, and oversees capital projects and lean initiatives including Kaizen, Gemba, and 5S. Supports advanced scheduling and MES implementation.

Operates optical fiber manufacturing machinery and performs bench, assembly, inspection, testing, cleaning, and basic equipment adjustments. Handles materials and products, including receiving, staging, storage, and shipping. Supports VAD, fiber draw, and post-draw operations, uses material-handling equipment, identifies process or equipment issues, and coordinates or instructs other Level 2 employees while following safety and quality procedures.

Design, implement, test, and commission control system solutions for optical fiber manufacturing equipment. Improve equipment reliability, integrate controls hardware/software (PLCs, motion, safety), support process optimization, collaborate with cross-functional teams on upgrades and new equipment, and troubleshoot controls and instrumentation issues to meet quality, cost, and production goals.
