Integrates components and subsystems from multiple vendors into complete defense training systems. Responsibilities include requirements development, architecture, system assembly, interface definition, testing, verification and validation, technical documentation, troubleshooting, configuration control, and compliance with government and cybersecurity standards. The role collaborates with engineering teams, suppliers, and government stakeholders and requires occasional travel to customer or supplier sites.

Leads systems engineering for military simulation delivery orders across requirements, architecture, integration, verification, testing, documentation, and final delivery. Collaborates with government stakeholders and cross-functional teams, coordinates technical events, manages risks, ensures contractual compliance, and mentors engineers. The role supports defense and aerospace programs involving high-fidelity game engines, simulation systems, and customer-site or test-event activities.

Develops, tests, debugs, and maintains software applications and system components based on established requirements. Conducts peer reviews, prepares technical materials for design reviews, troubleshoots issues, and integrates software at the component or subsystem level. The role follows established engineering standards, schedules, budgets, and software development lifecycle processes. Preferred experience includes military training systems, web applications, structured data, modeling and simulation, game engines, flight simulators, and Wartsila NTPRO.
