Lead design and layout of photonic integrated circuits (PICs); perform circuit simulations and data analysis; develop and implement custom models; maintain layout libraries and DFM practices; optimize design flow and automation; assess project feasibility, document results, collaborate with Process and Testing teams, and mentor junior engineers.

Provide pre- and post-sales technical support for photonic integrated circuits, translate customer needs into solutions and SoWs, run proof-of-concept PIC design studies, manage customer relationships and sales pipeline, collaborate with R&D to deliver tailored solutions, and contribute to marketing and market-intelligence activities.

Design and own PCM photonic building blocks across simulation, layout, metrology planning, and data analysis. Collaborate on DFT and DFM with characterization and 200mm process/yield teams, and deliver technical project planning, reporting, and documentation.

Develop and run automated DC-to-RF electro-optical wafer- and chip-level tests for photonic integrated circuits. Build Python-based remote instrument control and automation, analyze large measurement datasets, produce reports, design and validate metrology/test plans, execute R&D and customer test campaigns, scale test infrastructure with vendors, and train operators.

Drive customer acquisition and full sales lifecycle for SOI silicon photonics products. Build and maintain strategic customer relationships, deliver technical presentations and proposals, manage pipeline to meet targets, analyze market trends, represent the company at industry events, and collaborate with R&D to translate customer needs into product requirements and funding opportunities.

Execute and automate PIC layout for passive and active components, ensure manufacturability via DRC/LVS, build and maintain layout libraries and automation scripts, interface with process/yield teams, support data-driven characterization, and document procedures and tools.
