Performs therapeutic apheresis and phlebotomy procedures in acute, critical care, and outpatient settings. Establishes venous access, provides catheter care, monitors patients, manages adverse reactions, documents care, processes orders, and coordinates with clinical staff and physicians. Prepares, transports, operates, cleans, and maintains apheresis equipment and supplies. Requires independent nursing judgment, accurate recordkeeping, patient-centered service, and compliance with clinical, safety, and regulatory procedures.

Conducts donor registration, health interviews, physical assessments, whole blood and apheresis collections, donor recovery monitoring, adverse reaction care, quality control, and blood product handling. Recruits and rebooks donors, maintains accurate records, supports mobile and fixed collection sites, mentors trainees, performs final collection reviews, and oversees operations when a supervisor is absent. Requires compliance with medical procedures, regulations, safety standards, and customer service expectations.

Provide donor registration, health history screening, whole blood and apheresis collections (Alyx/Trima), monitor donor recovery, manage adverse reactions, perform QC and documentation, recruit donors, supervise collections in supervisor absence, and train/precept staff at mobile and fixed sites.
