Reviews and reconciles donor and donation records, investigates deferrals, duplicate donors, blood type discrepancies, and data-transfer errors, and updates the blood establishment computer system. Performs manual data entry, donor follow-up, data merges, status changes, reporting, auditing, filing, and deviation and reaction documentation. Requires accuracy, confidentiality, problem-solving, high-volume processing, and effective communication. A high school diploma or GED and two years of related experience are required; blood banking or laboratory experience is preferred.
