Answers emergency service calls, gathers and enters incident information into the computer-aided dispatch system, provides pre-arrival medical instructions, and communicates with EMS crews, healthcare facilities, and public safety agencies. Maintains dispatch equipment, follows emergency medical dispatch and company procedures, protects patient and company information, and supports safe, accurate, professional emergency response operations.

Verify patient demographics and insurance, audit and cross-reference PCRs with CAD data, obtain missing documentation from field staff and external sources, generate quality reports, and ensure HIPAA-compliant billing submission and record security.

Five-week, instructor-led EMT-B training including classroom, labs, and 24 hours of clinical ambulance rotations. Participants must attend all sessions, pass course testing and licensing exams, and commit to a minimum 24-month full-time EMT-B position with LifeCare following licensure.
