The role is onsite in Glendale Heights, Illinois, with travel up to 10%.

Design, develop, verify, and validate safety-critical firmware and FPGA/RTL logic for automotive systems. Perform RTL simulation and formal verification, develop IV&V and safety-compliant firmware work products, create verification plans and automated tests, and collaborate with system, hardware, safety, and test engineers.

Develop calibration, test, and production-support software for infrared sensing systems. Responsibilities span requirements review, software design, coding, unit testing, system integration, and sustaining engineering. The role requires understanding embedded hardware and software, multi-threaded development, peripheral buses, debugging tools, thermal-chamber testing, and imaging technologies. The engineer will collaborate with a hybrid team in Goleta, California and must be a U.S. citizen.
