Lead the commercial and administration functions for a major construction project in Canberra. Responsibilities include managing head contracts, subcontracts, procurement, variations, claims, cost controls, budgets, forecasts, cash flow, reporting, risk allocation, compliance, and stakeholder relationships. The role also requires mentoring the commercial team and ensuring strong financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Provide QA guidance on building projects: manage and perform project QA audits, support supplier/subcontractor audits, configure project EDMS (Aconex), monitor ITPs, calibration, document/drawing control, produce QA performance reports, and coordinate safety-in-design workshops.

Manage construction project delivery by coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, documentation, schedules, budgets, procurement, quality assurance, safety, and stakeholder communication. Assist project managers and superintendents with planning, execution, and closeout. Review technical drawings for constructability and compliance, monitor project performance, address delays or cost overruns, and support bid evaluation and vendor management.
