Twelve-week credit analysis internship involving data analysis, financial modeling, hypothesis testing, and lending strategy. The intern will use Python or SQL to analyze credit, default, pricing, and fraud data; inform NPV assumptions and lending decisions; assess economic and competitive changes; and present findings to senior leaders. They will also collaborate with product and technology teams to implement recommendations.

Execute the BSA/AML financial crimes compliance program for U.S. personal loans and credit cards. Investigate AML and sanctions alerts, maintain case records, prepare reports, support audits and regulatory requests, conduct risk assessments, and escalate unusual activity. Partner with Operations, Product, Engineering, bank partners, and regulators while identifying automation opportunities and supporting front-line queues during periods of high volume.

Build and integrate APIs, optimize lending platforms, contribute to architectural decisions, and deliver high-quality PHP software. The role involves backend product engineering across collaborative, cross-functional teams, using Symfony or Laravel, automated testing, microservices, and event-driven design. Engineers are expected to demonstrate ownership, autonomy, strong business judgment, and a commitment to continuous learning.
