Teams at Legislative Assembly of British Columbia

Coordinates construction and capital projects involving asset maintenance, rehabilitation, heritage restoration, environmental remediation, renovations, and redevelopment. Manages project documentation, timelines, budgets, consultants, contractors, and vendors from initiation through completion. Serves as the primary contact for external parties and helps ensure projects exceeding $600,000 are delivered successfully, on time, and within budget.

The Sergeant oversees daily operations of Special Provincial Constables and Safety Officers, coordinating security operations and ensuring policing and security standards are maintained. The role resolves issues involving the public, Assembly staff, management, and Members of the Legislative Assembly. It requires substantial recent policing experience in a Commonwealth jurisdiction, supervisory experience, and the ability to interact effectively with people in difficult or stressful circumstances.
