Represent low-income New Yorkers in public benefits matters, including SNAP, Medicaid, housing subsidies, and public assistance. Conduct client intake, administrative advocacy, hearings, court representation, community education, and policy advocacy. Attorneys collaborate with community organizations and LSNYC benefits units to improve agency practices and pursue systemic change.

Provides civil legal representation to students and families in special education and disciplinary proceedings. Conducts client intake, legal counseling, systemic advocacy, affirmative litigation, community outreach, and legal education. Collaborates with community organizations, agencies, and multidisciplinary teams; connects clients with resources; and maintains case files for grant compliance. The temporary position supports low-income, immigrant, and communities of color in Queens and is expected to last approximately twelve months.

Represent low-income immigrants in removal defense, asylum, family petitions, naturalization, VAWA, U and T visas, SIJS, and related Family Court matters. Conduct client intake, outreach, community education, appeals, advocacy, and administrative work. Collaborate with social workers, attorneys, community organizations, and litigation teams to provide trauma-informed, holistic legal representation.
