Teams at Legal Aid of Nebraska

Develop and execute marketing and communications strategies to raise Legal Aid of Nebraska's profile, manage digital and print content, produce visual media, maintain social channels and website, coordinate outreach and events, handle media relations, manage donor data for fundraising communications, track engagement metrics, and collect client impact stories to support development and program goals.

Provide client-centered, trauma-informed legal representation to children, youth, and families in juvenile court matters. Manage a diverse caseload, appear in court, conduct legal research and investigations, draft pleadings and appeals, collaborate with multidisciplinary partners, perform home/placement visits, maintain records, and engage in outreach and education to improve access to justice for vulnerable youth.

Provide direct civil legal representation to low-income clients: evaluate cases, perform research, draft pleadings, negotiate settlements, represent clients in hearings and appeals, counsel clients, and conduct community outreach and education.
