Coordinates and supervises unit operations, serves as a patient-care resource and role model, supports team building, facilitates communication, implements policies and standards, and manages staffing, scheduling, workflows, performance, and staff development.

Provides comprehensive nursing care in a women's services or family birth center setting. Responsibilities include assessing patients, planning and implementing care, evaluating outcomes, following RN standards, coordinating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining patient safety. Requires an accredited nursing education, at least one year of nursing experience or residency completion, an active RN license, BLS, NRP, and additional obstetric certifications or training within specified timeframes.

Provides comprehensive nursing care in a high-risk women’s services and family birth center setting. Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, implementation, evaluation, collaboration with physicians and healthcare staff, adherence to RN standards, and ensuring safe patient transfers. The role requires compassionate communication, critical thinking, electronic health system use, and certifications related to obstetric, neonatal, emergency, and fetal care.
