Provides compassionate funeral arrangement and embalming services, including preparing the deceased, coordinating ceremonies, arranging interments or cremations, completing legal documentation, and supporting grieving families. Conducts on-call transfers, manages contracts and payments, ensures regulatory compliance, coordinates funeral logistics, and provides aftercare. Requires strong communication, empathy, organization, computer proficiency, and the ability to work indoors and outdoors while handling physically demanding tasks.

Arranges and directs funeral, memorial, visitation, and interment services; supports bereaved families with compassion and professionalism. Coordinates vehicles, parking, ushering, deliveries, facility setup, documentation, aftercare, inventory, and office duties. Ensures compliance with licensing requirements and company procedures, maintains vehicles and property, and identifies pre-need referral opportunities. Requires a valid driver’s license, strong communication and organizational skills, computer proficiency, and at least three years of related funeral assistant experience.

Provides front-facing customer service and administrative support for a funeral home, cemetery, or crematory. Responsibilities include answering calls, maintaining records, entering contracts, processing invoices and accounts payable, renewing licenses, ordering memorials, managing office supplies, preparing reports, and assisting with projects. Requires professionalism, accuracy, organization, communication skills, and sensitivity when working with grieving families.
