Manage a high-volume portfolio of U.S. immigration matters, including family petitions, adjustment of status, naturalization, fiancé visas, TN visas, and E2 visas. Advise clients, prepare and file visa applications, and collaborate with co-counsel. Serve as an immigration subject matter expert for the company’s AI legal platform by reviewing product features, workflows, edge cases, risks, and regulatory considerations.

Lead independent second-line risk and compliance oversight for an SRA-regulated law firm. Serve as COLP, MLCO, MLRO, and DPO; manage SRA relationships, AML and financial crime controls, SARs, breaches, regulatory reporting, compliance registers, and UK GDPR obligations. Embed automated compliance controls across onboarding, AML, conflicts, and client money processes while advising senior stakeholders and the Board on regulatory risk and commercially sustainable growth.

Support month-end close and management reporting across UK and US entities. Prepare management accounts, variance analysis, reconciliations, accruals, deferred revenue, WIP, and intercompany accounting. Maintain ledgers in Xero and NetSuite, improve automated finance processes, support the first statutory audit, strengthen controls, and help integrate acquired entities. This is a hands-on individual-contributor role requiring accuracy, ownership, and effective collaboration across finance and business teams.
