Designs, develops, tests, and maintains scalable web, backend, and cloud applications. Builds RESTful APIs and integrations, evaluates emerging technologies including AI/ML and cloud services, collaborates with stakeholders, supports multiple projects, improves system performance and reliability, and participates in code reviews and continuous development improvements.

Leads waterfront and marine engineering projects involving structural and geotechnical analysis, design of coastal structures, permitting, technical documentation, construction oversight, project budgeting, client management, and staff supervision. The role requires collaboration with clients, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary teams, along with business development, proposal preparation, billing management, and mentoring of engineering staff.

Leads biological resource surveys, habitat assessments, special-status species investigations, vegetation mapping, jurisdictional delineations, permitting support, biological monitoring, restoration monitoring, and regulatory compliance. Coordinates field teams and project managers, prepares agency permit applications, supports infrastructure and utility projects, and conducts fieldwork at remote construction sites. Requires Southern California biological consulting experience, knowledge of environmental regulations, GIS and GPS data collection skills, and strong technical writing and communication abilities.
