Teams at Lanes Group

Administer streetworks permits and notices under TMA 2004 and NRSWA 1991. Coordinate and schedule streetworks, operate the Street Works Register, book jobs in the Big Change system, enter data, handle queries, and provide general administrative support to the Streetworks and Scheduling teams.

Provide traffic management for planned schemes on a Thames Water contract, operate traffic control methods (Give & Take, Stop/Go, portable signals, lane/road closures), complete risk assessments and method statements, perform daily vehicle checks, assist public safely, work standby rota including nights/weekends, and follow health and safety procedures with progression opportunities to supervisory roles.

Assist engineers with drainage system surveys, operate high-pressure jetting and support CCTV inspections, remove waste, perform equipment checks, help with emergency responses, and learn to complete job documentation and RAMS under supervision.
