Learns and performs 9-1-1 call-taking and dispatch support duties, including operating telephone, radio, and computer systems; following emergency protocols; entering caller and incident information into CAD; transmitting messages; and coordinating with public safety agencies. Requires training progression to Telecommunicator II, accurate multitasking, geographic knowledge, typing proficiency, certifications, drug screening, and availability for irregular hours or emergencies.

Provides adoption and permanency casework for children in agency custody, including safety assessments, home visits, family evaluations, adoption matching, court filings, subsidy negotiations, service coordination, and post-adoption support. The role requires collaboration with children, biological and adoptive families, agencies, and courts; detailed documentation; home visits; testimony; transportation; and occasional work outside standard hours.

Supervises caseworkers and clerical staff in child welfare services; assigns cases, reviews records and documentation, ensures regulatory compliance and child safety, conducts staff evaluations and coaching, approves administrative paperwork, supports court proceedings, resolves client and staff conflicts, and represents the agency in the community.
