Supports the design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, maintenance, and enhancement of medical device software applications. Works under senior guidance within the software development lifecycle, collaborates with cross-functional engineering teams, develops unit tests, participates in code reviews, troubleshoots defects, and follows Laborie’s quality management system, software engineering processes, and regulatory requirements.

Leads end-to-end UX strategy and design for regulated medical device platforms. Responsibilities include user research, workflows, prototyping, usability testing, human factors, design systems, regulatory documentation, and collaboration with engineering, marketing, quality, and regulatory teams. Oversees external UX partners and ensures designs meet usability, safety, accessibility, clinical, and compliance requirements.

Designs, develops, tests, documents, and supports software throughout the medical-device product lifecycle. Integrates software into medical devices, ensures compliance with quality and regulatory standards, develops automated tests, and collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, operations, and R&D teams. Mentors junior engineers, supports requirements and planning, estimates work, reports project progress, and leads technical solutions for complex software problems.
