Supports payroll tax audits, quarter-end and year-end filing reconciliations, payroll tax reporting, tax withholding processes, and regulatory compliance activities. The intern collaborates with payroll tax team members, assists with concurrent projects, validates payroll tax information, and develops knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax requirements. This is a full-time, 11-week paid internship for students pursuing business administration, accounting, or a related degree.

Provides customer service to Labcorp clients and patients through inbound and outbound communications. Resolves service requests, researches issues across databases, communicates test results, reviews forms, educates customers, and supports new customer qualification. Maintains medical records, CRM data, and internal documentation to support HIPAA compliance. The role also contributes to customer satisfaction improvements and requires accurate, professional communication in a fast-paced environment.

Processes and posts electronic and manual payer remittances, researches payer websites, manages aged accounts receivable, identifies payer trends, meets production goals, and collaborates with leadership and partner teams to ensure accurate and timely billing-system processing.
