La Jolla Institute for Immunology

La Jolla Institute for Immunology (LJI) is an independent, nonprofit biomedical research institute in San Diego focused exclusively on understanding the immune system. Its scientists investigate immunology and human disease across areas including autoimmunity, infectious diseases, genetics, molecular biology, and cellular immunity, with the goal of developing immune-based approaches to prevent, treat, and ultimately eliminate disease through collaborative, rigorous scientific research.
