Manage the College’s monthly payroll, including payroll reconciliation, HMRC and pension filings, statutory deductions, BACS payments, salary journals, payroll records, and employee queries. The role handles joiners, leavers, pension administration, sick and parental pay, salary changes, reporting, budgeting support, audits, and compliance while liaising with HR, departments, pension providers, and government bodies.

Provides out-of-hours welfare and crisis support to college students, responds to minor emergencies, supports hospital attendance, assists with disciplinary and safety issues, and coordinates information-sharing with wellbeing, nursing, and college staff. The role includes first aid, examination emergency response, student communications, welfare meetings, and rota-based evening, weekend, and vacation coverage. Candidates must be Oxford graduate students with sound judgment, discretion, resilience, strong communication skills, and willingness to complete relevant welfare and first-aid training.
