Prepares and reviews federal, state, franchise, premium, and municipal tax returns; supports quarterly and annual GAAP and statutory tax provisions, financial close, disclosures, compliance controls, and tax research. Collaborates with actuarial, investment accounting, risk, and operations teams to assess tax implications. Monitors tax law changes, manages policyholder withholding and reporting matters, and performs administrative tax department duties.

Finance Intern supporting Financial Reporting and Investment Accounting through account reconciliations, journal entries, financial statement preparation, board reporting, SOP review, and investment data analysis. The role provides rotational exposure to insurance accounting and uses tools including Excel, WINGS, Clearwater, Workiva, and Bloomberg Terminal. The intern will collaborate across departments, validate financial data, document processes, and support quarterly reporting while maintaining accuracy across multiple deadlines.

Supports private credit investment underwriting, transaction execution, portfolio surveillance, capital structure analysis, and relative value assessment. The role researches target industries, monitors public and private investments, prepares internal and external presentations, and collaborates with asset allocation, operations, legal, accounting, and technology teams. It requires 1–4 years of relevant credit investing, corporate finance, or capital markets experience and is based in New York with hybrid office attendance three days weekly.
