Coordinates carrier dispatch, driver scheduling, routing, back-hauls, freight movement, and transportation problem resolution. Ensures cost-effective, compliant, and on-time deliveries while maintaining carrier records and training users and vendors on transportation systems. Supports customer billing and invoicing by processing, validating, and submitting invoices; resolving billing inquiries with sales, operations, and finance; learning financial systems and order-to-cash processes; and contributing to process improvements. The intern must be pursuing an accounting, finance, or business degree, work part-time through 2026, and demonstrate organization, communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Performs high-volume data entry, maintains records, coordinates inbound and outbound shipments, obtains freight quotes, processes shipping documentation, supports accounts payable and payroll tasks, and ensures financial data accuracy. Conducts site orientations, troubleshoots shipping issues, communicates with vendors and carriers, and provides general office and operational support.
