Kong Benefits Overview

Manage a portfolio of commercial customers throughout their lifecycle, driving adoption, customer outcomes, and growth. Partner with Sales, Product, and Customer Experience teams to develop adoption plans, improve engagement, and deliver innovative technical projects. Serve as a Kong product subject matter expert, helping customers apply APIs, microservices, AI, Kubernetes, cloud-native technologies, DevOps, and CI/CD. Identify opportunities for automation, self-service tooling, and reusable customer-success processes.

Deploy and operate Kong Managed Gateways across cloud environments, monitor reliability and performance, resolve production incidents, participate in on-call rotations, and build automation and resilient tooling. The role focuses on achieving high availability, reducing technical debt, improving operational efficiency, and collaborating with engineering teams on scalable services.

Own the Konnect Developer Portal self-service experience, including application registration, credentials, teams, and environments. Lead discovery, roadmap development, user research, prioritization, cross-functional delivery, and KPI tracking across API, AI, gateway, lifecycle, monetization, and onboarding capabilities. The role requires strong developer empathy, experience with B2B SaaS or platform products, and the ability to connect frontend UX, backend integrations, and system design.
