Facilitates mill-wide manufacturing operations by coaching personnel, enforcing safety and quality standards, coordinating production, and improving processes. Develops manufacturing methods, analyzes workflow and equipment performance, supports new product launches, maintains training and quality documentation, and drives Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and OEE improvements. The role also assists with troubleshooting, contractor coordination, reporting, and compliance with IATF 16949 requirements in a physically demanding industrial environment.

Provides confidential administrative and business support to the General Manager and site leadership. Responsibilities include calendar and meeting management, travel coordination, customer-visit preparation, meeting notes, agreement tracking, communications routing, office supplies, bookkeeping support, receptionist backup, and administrative projects. The role is fully onsite in Watertown, New York, may require domestic or international travel, and supports ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality requirements.

Leads industrial research and development activities, including new product and process development, testing, technology transfer, quality improvement, raw material efficiency, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and production implementation. Manages R&D personnel, cross-functional projects, customer and supplier relationships, pilot equipment, and adherence to IATF 16949 standards. Evaluates research findings, prioritizes projects, ensures execution within budget, and supports safe, environmentally responsible operations.
